Tamtero 20 mg (Tamoxifen)

Tamoxifen is a medication primarily used in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. It belongs to a class of drugs known as selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs), which work by blocking the effects of estrogen on breast tissue. Tamoxifen is specifically indicated for the treatment of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, which is sensitive to estrogen. It may be used in both premenopausal and postmenopausal women. Additionally, tamoxifen may be used to reduce the risk of breast cancer in women at high risk and to treat certain other conditions, such as gynecomastia (enlargement of breast tissue) in men and infertility in women.
